Lost Shareholders

Overview

TSX Trust, a US-registered and SEC-regulated transfer agent, must perform at least two annual database searches using at least one information database service. These searches should prioritize the taxpayer identification number, but can use the security holder's name if the taxpayer identification number search is unlikely to be successful.

A security holder is classified as "lost" when mail sent to their registered address is returned as undeliverable on one or more occasions. This classification also requires the aggregate value of assets in the lost security holder's account to be USD 25 or greater. This aggregate includes all dividends, interest, other payments due, and the value of all securities owned as recorded in TSX Trust's master security holder files.

SEC regulation mandates that we search and notify to ascertain the correct addresses of Lost Shareholders. We work closely with shareholders to ensure a seamless and straightforward process for accurately reclaiming any outstanding/unclaimed assets.
